Grants to Canada nonprofit organizations for a broad range of projects and programs to benefit local communities. Applicants must submit an LOI prior to a full grant application. Eligible programs may align with one of the following areas of focus: youth, climate action, Indigenous, interfaith, and anti-racism/Islamophobia.
The Olive Tree Foundation supports a range of charitable activities in the local community: social, community and health services; education and library services; policy institutes and think tanks; and arts, culture and heritage.
The Olive Tree Foundation awards grants to not-for-profit organizations holding charitable registration with Customs and Revenue Canada Agency (or sponsored by an organization with charitable registration).
Applications are invited from community-based groups working within the fields of social, health and community services; education and library services; policy institutes and think tanks; and arts, culture and heritage.
Ineligible
Grants are not made to reduce operating or capital deficits; to support ongoing operating costs; to individuals; to annual, general or capital fundraising campaigns; or for purposes which may be deemed discriminatory.

The next deadline for the Project Introduction Form is May 31, 2025.
The next deadline for Grant Application is July 31, 2025.
Granting Process:
• Stage One: Project Introduction Form -The Grants Committee will review applicant’s ‘Project Introduction Form’ for basic eligibility and relationship to OTF’s objectives and priorities. The Committee will then decide whether ask the applicant to complete a Grant Application for formal consideration for funding.
• Stage Two: Grant Application - Successful project proposals will be shortlisted and invited to submit a full Grant Application.
• Stage Three: Grant Awarded
